The Opportunity

A career as a Boiler Maker at Wales Adelaide offers exciting opportunities for growth and development. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture and repairs, modifications to aluminium and steel semi tippers, trailers, and chassis.
  • Set up and operate hand tools, machine tools, and welding equipment.
  • Implement the direction set by Production Manager to complete specific tasks allocated.
  • Repairs to van bodies, sheet metal work.
  • Chassis repairs and straightening in our state-of-the-art chassis crush.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Operates safety equipment and uses safe work habits.
  • Detects faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notifies supervisors.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Trade qualified.
  • Ability to weld thick steel.
  • Mechanical knowledge to assist in the usage and maintenance of tools.
  • An overall aptitude for technical activities.
  • Punctual and reliable.
