Role Overview

The Australian government is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Economist to join its team as part of the Economist Stream Graduate Program. This program provides successful graduates with the opportunity to apply their skills and work on a diverse range of economic and research-based projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct economic analysis and research to inform policy decisions
  • Develop and maintain economic models and forecasts
  • Collaborate with other economists and stakeholders to identify opportunities for policy improvement
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior officials
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor degree or higher in Economics or a related field. You will also need to possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
