About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Allocator to join our Retail team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As an Allocator, you will play a critical role in managing stock allocations, rotations, and consolidations to meet planned sales, inventory targets, and buying decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage stock levels of the category, ensuring the right mix and depth of product, reviewing best sellers, and advising on the de-ranging of poor performers.
  • Manage stock requirements in store to meet variances in demand and promotional calendars, i.e. Christmas, VIP, and School Holidays.
  • Allocate to agreed timelines and ensure delivery targets are met.
  • Work with VM and Store operations to ensure store capacity plans are maintained.
  • Provide weekly delivery and stock allocation updates to the team.
Requirements
  • Prior experience working in a similar role in allocations within the retail industry (preferred).
  • Commercially minded & a keen problem solver.
  • Ability to make recommendations using data and analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
  • Customer service focus and ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment that's subject to change: time management, flexibility, and adaptability are essential.
  • Intermediate - Excel skills – comfortable using pivot tables, v-look ups, formulas, etc. (preferred but can be taught).
