About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Healthcare Support Professional to join our Therapy Services team at Deaf Connect. In this role, you will work closely with our Speech Language Pathologists and other Allied Health professionals to implement client-specific treatment plans and create resources for clients and families.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the coordination and administration of our therapy services, ensuring seamless operation and harmony among our clients and programs. You may also be required to work in various settings, including Deaf Connect offices, clinics, Tele-practice, playgroups, children's homes, and community settings such as childcare centres, kindergartens, and schools.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Interacting with families and clients in a manner that prioritizes their needs and follows the treatment plan outlined by their allied health professional supervisor.
  • Preparing therapy resources under the supervision of an allied health professional.
  • Communicating effectively with allied health professionals and other stakeholders involved in the client's support services.
  • Reporting back to the supervising allied health professional on the client's progress towards goals in their treatment plan.
