We are seeking passionate professionals to support individuals living with mental health conditions into meaningful employment.

About the Role

As a career consultant, you will manage a caseload of participants with mental health disability and provide tailored support that empowers them to achieve their employment goals.

  • You will deliver services using the Individual Placement & Support (IPS) Model, the world's most evidence-based approach to employment for people with mental illness.
  • You will support participants through every step of their journey: vocational profiling, job search, resume preparation, interview preparation, placement, post-placement support, and ongoing support.
  • You will strive to exceed individual and team performance targets, delivering sustainable employment outcomes and contributing to the overall success of the service.
  • You will build strong partnerships with local employers to create inclusive job opportunities.
  • You will work collaboratively with NDIS providers, ensuring wrap-around supports for participants' wellbeing.
  • You will monitor outcomes, keep accurate records, and contribute to continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • You will celebrate participant achievements and foster resilience, confidence, and long-term success.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in social science, psychology, or related field.
  • Proven experience working with people with mental health disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
