About the Role

The Supply Support Officer is responsible for delivering end-to-end supply chain support to ISS programmes, ensuring client demands are met under contract.

  • Inventory Management Systems will be maintained, including the initiation of cataloguing new inventory items in the IMS.
  • Supply sourcing requirements will be assessed through liaison with stakeholders based on supplied estimates, market experience, purchase complexity, sole source consideration and purchase thresholds.
  • Key suppliers, freight forwarders and logistics partners will be developed relationships with to manage lead times and maintain logistic control across local, domestic, and international supply portfolios.
  • Input will be provided to Supply Support reporting requirements.
  • Issues with goods/services will be managed through supplier corrective action processes and contributions will be made regularly to the Supplier Risk Report.
  • Contributions will be made to the development and continuous improvement of Supply Support business processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience within supply support or logistics
  • A formal qualification in either a trade or logistics management would be highly regarded
  • Knowledge of asset management standards, systems, and processes
  • Knowledge of Supply Support management, planning and scheduling
  • Experience with supply chain management and part interpretation
