Senior Portfolio Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Financial Risk Professional to join our team. As a key contributor, you will play a vital role in providing information, analysis, and recommendations to support portfolio monitoring, development, and implementation activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Portfolio Analysis: Produce reports, analysis, and recommendations to highlight risk issues and trends.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of the portfolio and communicate findings to the wider business in a clear and concise manner.
- Risk Assessment: Undertake analysis to determine the impact of portfolio strategy changes on areas of application and account management.
- Collaboration: Function as a key contributor to the Pay credit risk team, upholding high-quality insights that are both relevant and actionable.
- Project Support: Collaborate cross-functionally and work within project teams to deliver business initiatives while ensuring the interests of the credit department are upheld.
- Operational Risk: Work cross-functionally to drive delivery of actions required to close operational risk events assigned to credit risk.
The ideal candidate will have a curious and business outcome-focused approach partnered with a problem-solving attitude. They will also possess graduate or experienced qualifications in a numerate discipline, along with the ability to code in SAS/SQL/Python/R and use Power BI/Tableau/MS Excel to manipulate, visualize, and interpret large volumes of data.
