About the Role:

We are looking for a Family Lawyer with a minimum of 2 years post-admission experience to manage a variety of family law cases, including property settlements, children and parenting matters, and complex family disputes. As a Family Lawyer with our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a skilled admin assistant and make a meaningful impact in your clients' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing property settlements and divorce applications
  • Handling children and parenting proceedings
  • Drafting financial agreements and consent orders
  • Overseeing complex family law matters and litigation

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1+ year PAE in Family Law
  • Strong knowledge of FCFCOA practice, procedures, and rules
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive and diligent approach
  • High attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Experience in court appearances and mediations within the FCFCOA
  • Current QLD Practising Certificate and High Court of Australia Certificate
  • Familiarity with LEAP legal software
