The Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to guide our engineering supply chain operations, ensuring seamless execution of our long-term strategy. As Head of Engineering Commercial Operations, you will oversee inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and total cost of ownership, while fostering strong supplier relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and total cost of ownership.
  • Lead a team dedicated to continuous improvement, introducing new systems and processes that enhance Qantas' operational success.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance and other stakeholders to deliver commercial and financial initiatives.
  • Manage commercial relationships and contractor management for key suppliers like Boeing and Airbus.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of senior leadership in supply chain operations, with strengths in forecasting, demand planning, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, or Engineering, with an MBA highly regarded.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with experience leading large, diverse teams.
