This rare opportunity invites an ambitious qualified accountant to join a commercial-exposure-rich environment with project variety and genuine leadership pathways. Work closely with a commercially-minded CFO who has built high-performing teams and will guide you through a broad role spanning financial control, commercial finance, and strategic support.

The Role
  • Lead the month-end close and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Oversee compliance obligations (BAS, IAS, FBT, payroll tax).
  • Manage audit and tax relationships and prepare statutory reports.
  • Support board reporting and develop management reporting packs.
  • Deliver financial analysis to inform investment and business case decisions.
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and covenant compliance.
  • Assist in developing data visualization tools and enhancing reporting automation.
  • Identify and implement process improvements across finance operations.

As a key member of a lean and collaborative finance team, you'll be poised to expand your scope beyond month-end and compliance into business partnering, strategic analysis, and leadership development.

A CA/CPA with strong fundamentals in financial and management accounting, you're eager to step into a broader commercial role and engage with stakeholders, adapt to change, and build a long-term career in a business where finance plays a strategic role.
