We are seeking a highly skilled GIS Manager to join our Technical Services team at Transport for NSW. As a key member of our Spatial Project Services team, you will play a critical role in the technical implementation of GIS, ensuring high-quality deliverables across project teams, stakeholders, and partners.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the technical implementation of GIS, ensuring seamless integration with project workflows
- Provide geospatial expertise to support project teams and ensure top-notch geospatial deliverables
- Lead GIS implementation, process development, and foster relationships with stakeholders
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of GIS knowledge and practices
We are looking for a passionate and proactive GIS Manager who brings a solid foundation in GIS processes and technologies. You will have a strong track record of successfully implementing GIS specifications, standards, procedures, and technology in collaboration with design consultants, subcontractors, and project delivery teams.
You will be a valuable asset in seamlessly integrating GIS into project workflows, with a background in the transport industry and a tertiary qualification in Geographic Information Systems. Your robust communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and adept multitasking capabilities will empower you to manage multiple cross-functional priorities and navigate conflicting deadlines.
