Primary Care Physician Opportunity

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Care Physician to join our team as a Civilian Bench Medical Officer. As a Primary Care Physician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality primary medical care to Australian Defence Force personnel in outpatient and inpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering patient-centred, holistic care alongside a multidisciplinary team
- Assessing fitness for duty and supporting health before and after deployments
- Offering critical medical advice to leadership
- Ensuring Defence personnel receive top-tier care wherever they are stationed
Requirements
- Australian Citizenship (required for Baseline Security Clearance)
- General registration with AHPRA
- Fellowship with RACGP (FRACGP), ACRRM (FACRRM), or Vocational Registration
- At least 2 years of GP experience in the last 5 years (GPT Registrar rotations counted)
- Recent CPD participation aligned with AHPRA requirements
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification
