Delivering Excellence as a Van Operator

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Van Operator to join our team. As a Van Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a van to pick up mail from Street Posting Boxes, Corporate Offices, Licensed Post Offices and Delivery Centres.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick up mail and parcel items from customers
  • Unload mail articles from vans and manually sort them into small or large letters and parcels including express posts
  • Perform daily vehicle safety checks
  • Work collaboratively with senior drivers for professional development

Requirements:

  • Hold a full or probationary Australian driver's licence
  • Pass a mandatory and practical driving assessment
  • Be flexible with working additional hours if required
  • Have excellent memory and attention to detail
  • Meet safe working load limits
