About Fitrec
At Fitrec, we prioritize the professional development of our aquatic instructors to ensure they excel in their roles. Our inviting pool environment fosters a personal connection with each child and their guardians, making your contributions highly fulfilling.
The Position
We emphasize understanding our clients' needs and delivering a tailored experience. We are looking for instructors who are passionate about swimming and enhancing children's safety in aquatic settings. Ideal candidates should be enthusiastic, lively, approachable, and fun, utilizing a positive demeanor to build rapport with both children and their families.
Exceptional communication skills and a dedication to outstanding customer service are essential to ensure that participants and their families derive maximum enjoyment and benefit from our programs. Successful candidates will showcase their ability to engage effectively with students of varying ages, abilities, backgrounds, and requirements.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Capability to operate both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Current First Aid (Level 2) & CPR Certification
- Working With Children Check & National Police Clearance
- Current AUSTSWIM Certification - Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety (or equivalent)
- Infants Teaching License (training support available for suitable candidates)
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics (or equivalent)
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Aquatics Access and Inclusion (or equivalent)
- Prior experience in teaching infants and toddlers is highly valued
