Solar Cell Engineer Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Solar Cell Engineer to join our team at Monash University as part of an Industry PhD (iPhD) Program.
About the Project
The project aims to develop semi-transparent electrodes for integration of solar cells into building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) products, such as glazing, roofing, and cladding. The goal is to create new materials and processes for low-cost semi-transparent electrodes that can be used in the energy technology sector.
Key Responsibilities
- To design, develop, and test semi-transparent electrodes for BIPV applications
- To collaborate with industry partners and researchers to ensure the successful implementation of the project
- To publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences
Requirements
- Australian or New Zealand citizenship or Australian permanent residency
- Valid and current Australian work rights
- Meeting participating university PhD admission requirements
- University English language requirements
- No prior completion of a PhD
- Ability to commence the program in the year of offer
- Enrolment as a full-time PhD student
