About the Role

The Alfred Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Physiotherapy Department, you will provide essential support to our physiotherapists in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist physiotherapists with assessments and treatments, including exercise programs and equipment delivery.
  • Coordinate and organize services upon discharge, ensuring seamless transitions for patients.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as data entry and equipment ordering.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide a responsive and flexible service.

Requirements

  • Certificate III or higher qualification in Allied Health, Registered Nursing, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting or with a multidisciplinary health team is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
