The primary objective of this position is to deliver exceptional medical care to residents. This entails conducting thorough health assessments, monitoring vital signs, and managing medications and treatments.
Main Responsibilities- Clinical Care: Providing skilled medical care, encompassing the assessment of residents' health conditions and the administration of appropriate treatments.
- Wound Management: Effective management and dressing of wounds, coupled with the prevention of infections and promotion of proper wound healing.
- Health Care Planning: Development and implementation of tailored care plans based on residents' specific needs and medical conditions.
- Assessment and Documentation: Conducting comprehensive health assessments, maintaining accurate medical records, and documenting changes in residents' health status.
- Pain Management: Addressing pain concerns and implementing strategies for effective pain management.
- Emergency Response: Preparation to handle medical emergencies and coordination of the response as necessary.
- End-of-Life Care: Provision of comfort and support during end-of-life care, including palliative care.
This role requires a candidate with current AHPRA registration, knowledge of aged care accreditation standards, and a strong ability to adapt. The ideal candidate should possess excellent teamwork skills, be passionate about delivering high-quality care, and be willing to learn and develop new skills.
