Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are roadworthy and compliant.
  • Build and maintain rapport with internal and external customers to ensure excellent service.
  • Ensure timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, maintaining adherence to schedules.
  • Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
  • Notify Despatch of any issues that may affect deliveries or workload.
  • Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a valid HC Licence with a minimum of 2 years' recent Australian driving experience, as well as experience with tautliners, flatbeds, retractable or container trailers. You should also have a sound knowledge of the Sydney Metro area and excellent communication, time management skills, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
