Director of Early Childhood Services

The Director of Early Childhood Services oversees daily operations, ensuring high-quality childcare services and creating stimulating environments for children's growth.

Main Responsibilities

  • Program Management: Develops and implements operational plans, budgeting, staffing, rostering, and occupancy strategies.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensures adherence to Child Safe Policy, Code of Conduct, National Quality Framework (NQF), and Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Relationship Building: Fosters relationships with families and team members, promoting collaboration and open communication.
  • Financial Performance: Monitors and achieves financial targets, ensuring the center's sustainability.

Requirements

  • Degree in Early Education or related field.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a senior role within early childhood services.
  • Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Understanding of ECA Code of Ethics and United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
  • Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety.
