We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused team member to join our retail team.

As a key member of our team, you will ensure the store looks beautiful by keeping each aisle well stocked, neat, tidy and organised. You'll offer customers welcoming and attentive service, by answering any questions they have and offering assistance if required. You will also work with your team to receive and organise stock deliveries.

While previous experience working in retail or customer service is desirable, it's not essential. What's more important is that you possess a friendly attitude, good communication skills, and a love of working with food and people.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A friendly attitude and strong communication skills to provide exceptional customer service.
  • A love of working with food and people (both colleagues and customers).
  • Energy, initiative and willingness to take direction.
  • The ability to follow procedures and regulations, particularly regarding food handling and workplace health and safety.
  • Ongoing availability on at least 3-4 days per week and every second weekend. Your standard roster will be agreed based on your availability and operational requirements.
  • Physical fitness for lifting and standing.
