The Senior Program Manager, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will play a critical role within the Technology Division to execute on programs that grow Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives across the Division. This role will also work with stakeholders to lift diverse representation across all levels, with a focus on gender and first nations talent.


The ideal candidate will have a background in delivering people/HR programs, with strong stakeholder management skills. This includes collaborating with business units, internal stakeholders, and external partners (talent acquisition) to support program participants.


What You Will Achieve



  • Develop and implement strategies to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the Technology Division
  • Collaborate with business units, internal stakeholders, and external partners to support program participants
  • Uphold the brand and reputation of the Westpac Group, the Technology Division, and CIO Group Business Units (GBU)
  • Display positive risk behaviors
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of diversity programs and initiatives
  • Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for diversity, equity, and inclusion outcomes

Requirements



  • Previous DEI/HR program delivery (at least 3 years +)
  • Extensive stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • High business acumen
  • Proven experience achieving gender diverse targets and/or behavioral change initiatives desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Tertiary education completion
