Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pavement Operator to operate profiling equipment and deliver high-quality results in pavement construction and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Operate 1m and 2m profiling equipment with a preference for Wirtgen profilers, ensuring optimal performance.
  2. Maintain mechanical equipment, perform routine checks, and adhere to occupational health and safety standards.
  3. Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to achieve project goals.
  4. Travel throughout New South Wales and potentially interstate as required, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  5. Pass pre-employment checks, including drug and alcohol testing, prior to commencing work.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience working with road construction plant and civil construction equipment, particularly Wirtgen profilers.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment maintenance, enabling effective troubleshooting and repair.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve project objectives.
