Role Overview
The Internal Audit Manager is responsible for overseeing Baptcare's internal audit functions, ensuring adherence to established processes and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in formulating the annual internal audit plan and monitor progress against it.
- Manage audit assignments, ensuring thorough review of documentation and audit findings.
- Evaluate reports generated by other auditors as necessary.
- Lead project planning initiatives and assist in risk assessment activities.
- Conduct various audit tasks, including documentation and report preparation.
- Verify the accuracy of financial records related to assets, liabilities, and transactions.
- Coordinate audit assignments, fostering effective communication with staff and external auditors.
- Contribute to policy development through strategic planning.
- Propose enhancements to improve control measures.
- Collaborate with management to address issues identified in audit reports.
- Follow up on audit assignments delegated to other auditors.
- Stay informed on industry trends and relevant issues.
- Guide team members to ensure compliance with legal standards and organizational objectives.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of audit evaluations.

- In-depth knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.
- Proven ability to supervise and mentor staff, including effective organization and prioritization of tasks.
