Hospital Service Quality Expert

The Hospital/Service Quality and Safety Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, this position reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for managing activities related to Quality and Clinical Safety Management across the hospital/service.
- Develop and implement organisational-wide quality systems
- Manage the organisation's quality management system incorporating compliance with accreditation standards
- Monitor preparation for accreditation for all services
- Support a culture that enables staff to understand and comply with quality clinical risk and patient safety guidelines
- Lead annual quality audits and review audit tools
- Analyse audit results create improvement plans and act on audit findings and recommendations
- Ensure document control systems comply with accreditation standards
- Establish an internal audit schedule for risk minimisation and compliance
- Manage clinical indicator collection maintain incident and risk registries
- Evaluate and prepare analysis/benchmarking reports on key performance indicators
