We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our close-knit team at the YMCA WA's Baldivis centre.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with children, develop engaging programs, and contribute to their growth and learning. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages children to explore and learn.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement high-quality educational programs that cater to the needs of children aged 0-5 years.
  • Work collaboratively with the Room Leader to design and deliver individualized programs that meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's developmental progress and communicate with parents regularly.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture that prioritizes child safety and well-being.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
  • Understanding of the National Education and Care Services Regulations 2012, the EYLF, and the NQF.
  • Ability to reflect on previous experience implementing programs in an early learning setting.
  • HLTAID012 First Aid Certificate, National Police Clearance, and Working with Children check.
