Senior Legal Advisor Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Advisor to join our team in the Office of General Counsel. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to the development and implementation of legal policies and strategies that support the Cabinet Office.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in law, with expertise in one or more of the following areas: privacy, environmental, commercial and/or public law. They will also possess excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves providing expert legal advice to senior executives, undertaking complex legal analysis, and collaborating with stakeholders to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, resilient and agile, with a strong ability to exercise professional judgment on diverse legal issues.

  • Provide timely and accurate legal advice to senior executives and other stakeholders
  • Undertake complex legal analysis and research to inform policy development and decision-making
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to develop and implement effective solutions to legal and policy issues
