Laboratory & LIMS Analyst, APS Level 5, National Measurement Institute

The Department of Industry, Science and Resources is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory & LIMS Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Analytical Services branch, you will be responsible for conducting trace level chemical analysis of environmental or food samples. Your expertise in laboratory processes and quality assurance will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our results.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct scientific laboratory processes in compliance with quality assurance and quality systems principles and practices
* Provide ongoing enhancement and support for LIMS processes for the Analytical Services branch
* Participate in requirements gathering and solution design workshops with stakeholders and external consultants
Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in Science with a chemistry background
* Demonstrated experience in the use of computer-based data management systems
* Experience working in a scientific analytical laboratory or experience with commercial LIMS systems
