About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Swimming Instructor - Aquatics and Water Safety to join our team at Belgravia Leisure. As a key member of our aquatic team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons and water safety programs to children and adults.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching swimming and water safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with people of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver swimming lessons and water safety programs to children and adults
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to different age groups and skill levels
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Swimming and Water Safety Teacher Certificate
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
  • Working With Children Check (or equivalent) & National Police Check
  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics (Desirable)
  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Aquatics Access and Inclusion (Desirable)
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • An understanding of OHS and public safety applications within your facility
