Enterprise Computing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Computing Specialist to join our team. As a Cloud Field Engineer, you will provide specialist advice and support to the Enterprise Computing Delivery Lead.

You will work as part of a leveraged team of technical, commercial, and service delivery specialists under the direction of the Delivery Lead. Your primary responsibility will be to apply knowledge of private and public cloud technologies to develop approach-to-market requirements for enterprise computing services.

You will evaluate responses, agree solutions, and implement contracted outcomes. You will describe how private and public cloud technologies (servers, storage, networks, security) are integrated to deliver services to application owners, developers, and end users.

You will deliver enterprise computing solutions and services via private cloud and hyper-scale public cloud provider technologies and services. Contemporary identity and access management services, development and service delivery frameworks and models, and Cyber Security Essential 8 practices will also be incorporated in your work.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience as an enterprise computing engineer or solution architect working on private and/or public cloud enterprise computing technologies and services. They should also have experience designing and implementing solutions and services utilising hyper-scale public cloud provider technologies and services.

The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing ICT outsourcing arrangements, including requirements development, tender evaluation, contract negotiation, and service implementation. Experience in implementing enterprise computing services within Government is also essential.

The successful candidate will be able to work with a wide range of complex and intertwining issues to identify paths to resolution. They should be able to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to identify gaps in strategy, delivery, and capability.
