About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dietitian to join our team at Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. As a Rural Generalist Dietitian, you will play a key role in delivering a comprehensive range of health services to our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the direct supervision of an experienced Dietitian to contribute to the delivery of health services in both inpatient and community settings.
  • Collaborate with a multi-professional team to provide preventative, early intervention, treatment, and evaluation approaches.
  • Utilize a combination of skills and knowledge to develop and implement effective health programs and services.
  • Work with patients, families, and carers to provide education and support to promote healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Must hold a recognized qualification within the Dietetics profession and be eligible for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA).
  • As a self-regulated profession, it is desirable to participate in the DAA Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) Program.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
