This role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Paint Prepper to join our team at Lane Cove.

Job Summary

As a Paint Prepper, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting by priming, buffing, and denibbing surfaces according to job sheets.

You will handle all vehicles with care and attention, clean work bays and workshops as required, adhere to our Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) policy, and perform general detailing duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, prime, buff, and denib vehicle surfaces as per job sheet specifications
  • Handle vehicles with due care and attention to ensure their safety and quality
  • Clean work bays and workshops regularly to maintain a safe and efficient working environment
  • Adhere to our OH&S policy, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe working environment
  • Perform general detailing duties to prepare vehicles for painting
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a prepping or painting role
  • A strong commitment to working safely and following OH&S procedures
  • High attention to detail to ensure accurate preparation of vehicle surfaces
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a team player mindset to work collaboratively with colleagues
