At DECIEM, we're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Retail Beauty Consultant to join our team at our Flagship Australian store on Gertrude St, Fitzroy. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about beauty products and skincare.

Job Overview

This role will involve working with customers, providing excellent service, and promoting our brands and products. The ideal candidate must be able to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week, including weekends, some nights, and public holidays, with a flexible schedule that includes around 10-15 hours each week.

The successful candidate will have availability on weekdays and also be able to work at least one day over the weekend. There may be opportunities to increase working hours from November through December, which is our busiest period of the year.

More hours are available for those candidates who can work across multiple locations. We are looking for someone with good initiative and strong team player skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet all customers with enthusiasm and professionalism, reflecting DECIEM's vision through excellent service.
  • Determine customer needs and suggest relevant products by listening to customers and sharing product knowledge acquired during brand training.
  • Ensure quality, customer service, and health and safety standards are met.
  • Deliver unparalleled customer service and educate customers about the world of beauty and skincare, DECIEM brands, and products.
  • Manage customer feedback and queries.
  • Operate POS and complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Participate in inventory control and counts to ensure product stock is up to date.
  • Contribute to a positive, fun, and professional team environment.
  • Stay up to date with product knowledge, company information, launches, and campaigns.
  • Perform operational duties such as cash handling, restocking, and replenishing products.

  • A love of beauty products and passion for skincare.
  • Comfortable engaging customers and applying products while providing consultations.
  • Ability to multi-task while providing professional and outstanding customer service.
  • Effective time management and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
