Opportunity Overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Emergency Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team at a 160-bed Tertiary Teaching hospital in the heart of NSW's Western Plains district.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Emergency Consultant to work in a friendly, dynamic, and hands-on team comprised of FACEMs with a broad spectrum of interests in Emergency Medicine. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a thriving progressive community with a local population of over 35,000.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
  • Participate in the education and training of junior medical staff
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA
  • Hold or be eligible for FACEM
  • Possess at least 12 months recent experience in Emergency Medicine at a Consultant Level
  • ACEM trainee soon to obtain FACEM
  • IMG's who are about to lodge their Specialist Assessment Application with ACEM, or awaiting their ACEM interview, or who have been assessed by ACEM and found to be partially or substantially comparable
