We are seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Technologist to join our Radiology Department as a Tutor Radiographer. This permanent full-time position involves mentoring student radiographers, driving high-quality imaging, and creating an effective teaching environment across Mercy Public Hospital and associated sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Student rostering and mentoring
  • Driving high-quality imaging and teaching settings
  • Liaising with external stakeholders, such as universities
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Comprehensive clinical experience as a radiographer
  • Mentoring and educating students
  • A passion for teaching and helping students
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • A great attitude and desire to learn and improve
  • Very high standards of imaging quality and patient care
  • A good understanding of patient, staff, radiation, and workplace safety practices
  • University or equivalent qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology
  • Current AHPRA Registration and Vic radiation license
  • Driver's license
