About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Allied Mental Health Practitioner to join our team as a Private Practitioner at headspace Bentleigh, Elsternwick or Syndal.
Key Responsibilities- Provide counselling services to young people aged 12-25 years under a Mental Health Care Plan through Medicare-funded items.
- Work as a session-based Private Practitioner, setting your own hours.
- Be part of a supportive and fun team environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and registration (AHPRA or AASW).
- Provider number for bulk-billing to Medicare.
- Indemnity insurance to the value of $10 million.
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence.
- Current working rights visa.
- Satisfactory completion of a Police Check and Working with Children Check.
- Be part of an innovative youth mental health program making a real difference in the community.
- No fee charges for room or reception, receiving 100% of the Medicare Billing, and where clients can afford it, a full fee payment $35 above the Medicare rebate amount.
