Female Disability Support Worker With Expertise In Mental Health Support

At JCicare-Support Services, we are seeking experienced female disability support workers with mental health experience to join our team. If you have a passion for making a difference in the lives of others and possess excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.
About the Role- Promote and develop independent living skills
- Provide person-centred support to participants
- Have a clear understanding of positive behaviour support and active support
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of support activities
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Meal preparation and domestic duties
- Medication administration
- Incident reporting and Sleep Logs recording
- Experience in managing complex challenging behaviour and high intensity support
- Implementing positive behaviour support (PBS)
- Mental health support experience
- Native English Speaker required due to participant communication barrier
- Valid Police Clearance Certificate
- Current Drivers Licence, Roadworthy & Fully Insured Vehicle
- Fantastic and supportive team environment
- In-depth training for complex modules of care
- Mentoring for leadership and management opportunities
- 8 hours + shifts available including sleep overs and active night
