About the Role

This permanent, full-time position involves leading clinical leadership and management of the team to provide high-quality mental health services to children and adolescents in a specified regional area. The role requires collaboration with the Team Leader to develop, monitor, and evaluate clinical outcome measures, as well as overseeing designated clinical processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the clinical leadership and management of the Child and Adolescent Community Mental Health team.
  • Develop, monitor, and evaluate clinical outcome measures in collaboration with the Team Leader.
  • Oversight of designated clinical processes.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team reviews of current clients.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience and demonstrated specialist level knowledge of contemporary mental health nursing.
  • Understanding of mental health issues in relation to children, adolescents, and their families.
  • Proven ability to provide assessments and therapeutic interventions relevant for children, adolescents, and families accessing services.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of other services and agencies in the context of providing specialist mental health assessment, advice, and training.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
