Prysmian Australia Pty Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and proactive Purchasing Intern to join our team in Liverpool. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Energy & Telecom Non-Raw Material (NRM) categories.

• Enhance the Procurement to Pay process by working closely with the Purchasing team.
• Manage the creation of Purchase Orders through the ERP system and ensure accurate recording and monitoring of service and goods.
• Issue POs to Vendors and follow up on deliveries, connecting freight forwarders as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with suppliers and internal departments for all specifications and payment terms.
• Maintain accurate ERP price lists and contracts.
• Assist in the completion and submission of monthly Purchasing reports.
• Source products and services and promote adherence to best practice policies and tracking of procurement budget initiatives.

• Strong IT and Excel skills.
• Ability to work effectively with suppliers and stakeholders.
