The Opportunity

As a valued member of our close-knit team, you will work predominantly with our partner James Baird, with a particular focus on financial lines and construction. You'll get direct client access and scope to team up with our national colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with insurer and insured clients on financial lines and construction matters.
  • Have exposure to reinsurance and regulatory elements.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have:

  • 2+ years PQE.
  • Interest in financial lines and/or construction.
  • Strong legal and analytic skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Strong desire to learn and progress.
  • Interest in expanding experience across additional classes of insurance and reinsurance.
  • Experience leading junior lawyers (for Associate level applicants).
  • Motivated, can-do approach. Ability to think outside the box and provide value-adding solutions to clients.

Estimated Salary Range

Around $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
