Key Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee production runs and operate laboratory equipment to assess waste material content and quality of waste streams.
  • Conduct extensive laboratory testing on diverse biowaste streams and process waste materials to recycle into fuel or fertilizer.
  • Execute testing experiments to produce feedstock samples.
Key Job Requirements:
  • At least 3+ years experience in process or plant engineering within waste-processing, bioenergy, or relevant industry.
  • Mechanical Fitter qualification with 3+ years industry experience.
  • Forklift license preferred but not essential, along with strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Full working rights in Australia and current Australian Driver License required.

Lab Operations Management involves overseeing production runs and operating laboratory equipment to assess waste material content and quality of waste streams. This role also entails conducting extensive laboratory testing on diverse biowaste streams and processing waste materials to recycle into fuel or fertilizer.

Plant Process Engineering and Quality Control requires collaborating with internal and external engineering teams on design, commissioning, and equipment efficiency. The successful candidate will modify processing machinery to meet specific customer requirements and review design and manufacturing solutions to align with market needs.

The selected candidate will ensure all quality control procedures are followed to high standards and oversee maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are necessary for this role.
