Job Title: Software Development Specialist

Vanguard is seeking a skilled software development specialist to join its Client Experience team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development, including experience with Java, Angular, and Node.js.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software applications
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Work in an Agile software development methodology, participating in regular communication with the team and other teams
  • Maintain a high standard of technical design, code quality, and documentation
  • Implement automated test strategies to ensure product quality
  • Manage code deployment across development, test, and production environments
  • Proactively communicate technical issues with the team and technical lead
  • Troubleshoot production incidents with the support team
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years related work experience with at least one year of development experience
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Familiarity with AWS, DevOps practices, and CI/CD using Git and GitHub Actions
  • Experience with test automation and test-driven development using Cypress, Playwright, and Jest
