About the Role:

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Operations Manager to join our global logistics team. As a key member of our international logistics operations, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing our logistics flows, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to develop and implement strategies for logistics optimization, and evaluating and enhancing our supply chain network design to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and Optimize Logistics Operations: Identify key areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize logistics flows, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with international trade regulations.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams and External Partners: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to develop and implement logistics optimization strategies, driving business growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluate and Enhance Supply Chain Network Design: Analyze and optimize our supply chain network design to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Drive and Report on Logistics Optimization Initiatives: Develop and implement metrics to measure the effectiveness of logistics optimization initiatives and report on key performance indicators.
  • Build and Maintain Strong Relationships: Foster strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Minimum 4-6 years' experience in optimizing international logistics flows, preferably within a global organization.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to interpret sophisticated data and make data-driven decisions to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to enable effective collaboration cross-functionally.
  • Ability to Handle Multiple Projects: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and achieve objectives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Attention to Detail: Commitment to delivering high-quality results and attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
