About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join our client's team in the Mining Services industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in their work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify new employee documentation and set up payroll records
  • Process payroll for multiple sites, including calculations and deductions
  • Manage timesheets and work with the new time and attendance system
  • Calculate leave, entitlements, and terminations
  • Prepare superannuation reports and assist with reconciliations
  • Implement new systems and processes
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve payroll queries
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Extensive experience in end-to-end payroll processing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to new systems and processes quickly
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Experience with system implementation is highly advantageous
