About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for leading, collaborating, guiding and refining the creation of educational initiatives, events and exhibitions for diverse audiences and in collaboration with other scientific communications institutions. You will also provide continued training opportunities for the Space Communicator team and participate in strategic planning to ensure the Discovery Centre's goals, aims and focus are aligned with the Agency's priorities.
Your Key Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience in developing and implementing public engagement opportunities that communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and clients.* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.* High-level organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), education, or communications.* Relevant qualifications or certifications in project management, marketing, or public relations.
