The Cyber Security and Resilience Branch implements government security policies and frameworks. This position undertakes work delivering quality outcomes across functions, exercising broad direction and independence in problem solving and issues management.
This role requires strong analytical skills, intelligence analysis, vulnerability and behavioural analysis, providing security advice on insider threat capability.
Conducting active liaison with internal and external partners, influencing and reducing risk exposure.
RequirementsThe following skills, experience and attributes are highly favourable:
- Previous experience in intelligence, cyber security, investigation or similar roles.
- Intelligence and/or security qualifications.
- A background or experience in applying intelligence methodology and knowledge of the intelligence cycle.
- Independent thinking and initiative.
- Analytical approach to problem solving.
- Ability to present findings through written and verbal communication.
Experience working with current industry knowledge, providing leadership and recommendations about insider threat and intelligence topics.
Leading and developing the vision and strategy of the Agency's Insider Threat Program.
Other InformationSuccessful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance and undergo a pre-employment check. While this role is ideally performed from various locations, other arrangements may be considered.
A merit pool will be established that may be used to fill similar positions within the next 18 months.
