As a Regional HSE Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of HSE strategies and programs across multiple sites in Queensland, Papua New Guinea, and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement HSE Strategies: Establish and maintain a positive HSE culture across all sites, ensuring compliance with Cummins internal requirements, applicable regulations, and industry standards.
- Lead HSE Programs and Policies: Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and environmental aspect identification.
- Manage HSE Performance Metrics: Collect and analyze data to evaluate HSE performance trends, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to drive continual improvement.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with site leaders, employees, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication, coordination, and implementation of HSE initiatives.
- Provide HSE Expertise and Guidance: Offer subject matter expertise on complex HSE issues, including health, safety, and environmental compliance, capital and resource management, risk reduction, incident investigation, and emergency preparedness and response.
- Develop and Manage HSE Training Programs: Design and deliver training programs to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Identify, interpret, and manage legal and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental related regulations and standards.
- Education: College, university, or equivalent degree in Occupational Health, Safety, or Environmental Science.
- Experience: Significant relevant experience in HSE management, including management of health, safety, and/or environmental ISO Standards.
- Certifications: Professional certification in HSE-related field preferred.
