The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Elevation System team in Brisbane. This new role has been created to enhance the support of the Hitachi hydraulic lifting and locking system for under chassis maintenance of mining excavators across Australia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, operation, and maintenance of the Elevation System. They will travel with the system, supported by local branch resources, to safely and efficiently replace components such as swing bearings and track frames.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manage HCA's relationship with mine sites by delivering safe, high-quality support
- Coordinate and supervise Elevation System projects
- Required to work in a team or autonomously
- Provide technical training and assistance to other branches within the organization, as needed
Requirements
- Mechanical trade qualifications
- Problem analysis and resolution skills
- Supervisory or people management experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Safety-first culture with evidence of understanding of mine safety
- Ability to travel extensively throughout Australia to support HCA customers
