Culinary Career Starter

We're seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Commercial Cookery Apprentice. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who is passionate about food and eager to learn the skills required to succeed in the hospitality industry.

About the Role:

This part-time apprenticeship is designed for young, motivated individuals who want to get started in commercial cooking. You will work alongside experienced chefs, gain real kitchen experience, and study towards a nationally recognised qualification – all while getting paid.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing, cooking, and plating dishes in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment
  • Learning about food safety, kitchen operations, and menu planning
  • Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
  • Studying towards your Certificate III in Commercial Cookery through a Registered Training Organisation

Requirements:

  • A genuine interest in food and hospitality
  • Punctual, reliable, and able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Previous kitchen or café experience is a bonus, but not essential
