Wood Machinist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Wood Machinist - CNC Specialist to join our team at Conquest Personnel Pty Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating state-of-the-art CNC machines and equipment to produce high-quality furniture products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines and equipment, including flatbeds, buzzers, thicknessers, and sanding machines.
• Read and interpret working drawings to ensure accurate production.
• Process jobs in our in-house software system.
• Comply with safety requirements and participate in safety improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the factory.
• Assist in programming new patterns for CNC equipment.
• Identify and resolve quality issues with the factory team.

Requirements:

• Trade qualifications or in the process of obtaining trade qualifications.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Passion for sustainability and commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable transportation and full vaccination status.
