Family Practitioner FPR

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Practitioner to join our Frankston FPR Team. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with families, communities, and disability division to provide an immediate, intensive, and sustained intervention to support vulnerable families.

The successful candidate will have a degree-level qualification in a discipline such as social work or psychology, and will have demonstrated high levels of engagement with at-risk families. They will also have experience working intensively with small caseloads and knowledge of or experience using common elements.

Key responsibilities will include working with a DFFH Child Protection Practitioner to identify and prioritise goals for intervention with the family, being responsive to the family's needs to address individual issues and stressors, and guiding the implementation of skill development and behaviour change techniques with the family through goal-setting and motivational interviewing.

OzChild offers a full-time permanent position with a salary of SCHCADS level 6 $106,389.92 + super, salary packaging up to $15,900, and meals and entertainment of $2650. We also offer training in practice elements, a unique culture promoting diversity and shared values, and a collaborative and cohesive working culture.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of family systems, risk assessment, and safety planning, as well as current driving license. If you are passionate about working with families and making a positive impact, we encourage you to apply.
